Kayleigh M. Anselm

Kayleigh M. Anselm joined Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet in August 2021 following her two- and half-year clerkship for the Honorable Christopher C. Fogleman of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia Bar.

Kayleigh earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law.

Born into a military family, Kayleigh has a strong commitment to helping people and her community. While attending “Pitt” Kayleigh, who is fluent in Italian, studied in Florence, Italy and was a volunteer instructor at an Elementary School, the Instituto San Giuseppe. Throughout law school, she taught Constitutional Law and Criminal Law at Paul Public Charter High School in Washington, DC as part of the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.

Kayleigh interned in the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Court Division. She also worked as a student attorney for the International Human Rights Law Clinic during which time she provided pro bono legal services. Ms. Anselm also interned in Bamenda, Cameroon, where she provided pro bono legal services.
